A Vision of Hope
A Hope education is RELATIONAL.
Excellent education moves beyond the traditional model of presenting information to the student and fosters a relationship between the student and the curriculum. Hope students will interact with the curriculum and its numerous real-world applications to build relationships between what is learned and what is experienced. Hope School is dedicated to developing each student’s relationship with the curriculum, as well as their relationship with their peers, their family, the Hope community, the local community, and the global community.
A Hope education is EXPERIENTIAL.
Whether engaged in journeys on-site or off campus, Hope School will implement cross-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary educational approaches within the highest standards of academic excellence. Among a wide range of projects, we will provide students with a hands-on education in a variety of environmentally-minded projects, including the sustainability of each campus. Hope School will encourage students to understand their interconnectedness with the environment around them, and empower them to proactively engage in efforts to create a sustainable way of living for themselves and their
communities.

Hope School curriculum will amplify Hope School students’ ability to excel beyond their highest expectation whether college bound or work-force bound with a 100% graduation rate. Hope will include advanced and regular educational opportunities, as well as wide-spectrum special education. Cooperative educational opportunities for those students in the community who are home schooled will also be offered. Hope curriculum will prepare students for careers including (but not limited to) those which utilize gifts in Foreign Languages, Mathematics, Literature, Sciences, Social Studies, Conflict Resolution Studies, Philosophy, Athletics, and the Arts. Hope School is dedicated to recruiting educators that exemplify the utmost professionalism, creativity, and innovative educational philosophy.
Hope education fosters emotional and physical HEALTH.
Hope School is firmly dedicated to a counseling program of highly skilled clinicians available to all students and their families for individual, family, group, and career counseling. Hope's counseling center will also reach out to the community through seminars and education. Hope believes that the health of its students is inextricably linked to the health of the communities in which they live. Hope school will integrate health education and promotion for its students and communities by partnering with local and state public health organizations to utilize state-of-the-art, evidence-based health education programs, including, but not limited to: healthy eating and physical activity promotion, healthy body image promotion, smoking cessation/prevention, drug and alcohol abuse prevention. Holistic health emphasis and instruction will not only be included in the curriculum, but will also be manifested in all operations of the school and wellness center.

Hope School is dedicated to both reflecting the local community in which it resides and connecting communities to each other. Hope school will strive to create a diverse student population by engaging leaders in many different communities to identify appropriate marketing strategies for families in their community. Hope school will actively seek ways to develop a community that is multicultural and multi-ethnic.
A Hope education is COMMUNITY-INTEGRATED.
Hope school will encourage students to be engaged with their communities. One way this goal will be achieved is through a mentoring program built into each subjects curriculum. This will allow students to be exposed to exceptional, responsible, successful community members, seniors, and working professionals who are committed to the students’ success.
A Hope education fosters COMMUNITY SERVICE.
Hope School will offer opportunities for service excursions (referred to as "journeys") within local communities, throughout the US, as well as internationally. These will also have an emphasis on sustainability, eco-responsibility, and social and cultural respect.
The GOAL & The UNIQUENESS of Hope
The ultimate GOAL of Hope School is to build a sustainable educational model that can be replicated at Hope campuses throughout the US, in order to provide a variety of replicable sustainable models for education that can meet the needs of variety of different systemic problems within the existing educational infrastructure in the US.Hope is unique in its’ holistic service to all children. Hope's community based preschool, elementary and secondary educational model is truly the first of its kind integrating project-based and experiential learning with community involvement. Counseling services that are not available in the public or private school sector are critical components to the Hope School Experience. Traditionally, school counselors are limited in their ability to conduct full scale services to students and their families. It is an unfortunate reality that most school counselors recommend out of house services, which are often too costly for families, so rather than seek assistance, behavioral and developmental problems go untreated.
